you are absolutely right man, but I think this car ain't like any other $25k cars out there. as you probably can tell, toyota and subaru really put a lot of money to advertise gt86/frs/brz, and I personally think this car has been overrated. there are a lot of 1%ers have joined this game, they are willing to pay $25k for the car and put in another $50k or $80k to modify it, so they can differ their car from the 99%ers' frs, that's where the market is at

It's too expensive for me but it's actually not really bad for a full body kit from bensopra, and I think there will be a lot of these on the street in one or two years.

Not sure where you got the price. From what I heard from Kei and Greddy it should be around in the $6-7K price range depending on the yen conversion.

Ok and the modding begins. Nothing major this weekend.

First took out the headlights.

Sending them out tomorrow to Retro Fit Source to have them install the Morimoto Retro Quik system and black out the headlight housing.

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/

To achieve this look

Then a quick 2 minute install of the Beat Sonic sharkfin antenna.

All three of my cars now have sharkfins antennas. HA HA obviously the other two came from the factory with them.

Talked to Kei and the body kit will be shipping end of August.

Just waiting for a few more parts to come in. Will start on the mechanical stuff first such as the clutch, supercharger, coilovers, brakes before the kit comes in.

This is probably one of the easier builds I have done. 12 week deadline until SEMA is eternity. I have had to build cars in 4 weeks before and that was insane.

One more photoshop for you guys

wow dude, that's really an affordable price! I actually got the quote a couple of days ago from a gt 86 body kit comparison reading on a random website, can't find the link now. your source is definitely more reliable!

this is THE most sexy frs/brz body kit by far man, if the price falls in that range, I will also get one for sure! there will be a lot of frs with greddy body kit cruising on street/track, can't wait!

btw, thanks for sharing the pictures and info!

I am having my headlights taken apart by The Retrofit Source and modified with xenon projectors as well as having them paint my housing black. It will sort of look like headlights in the rendering.

Nice, love the blackout headlight look!

Btw is that 6-7k pricing for the wing
Included? Or is it just for skirts, rear bumper, front lip, and fender flares?
