I quit my job to pursue a scholarship opportunity to do my Masters in Computer Science. I'm going to home to see my mom.

Wrong. For the past 5 years I've been working hard at university and internships at really big name companies (20 months in total) to be able to afford something nice. With my grades and the scholarships I earned, tuition was already paid for and I decided to spoil myself a little with the money I earned.

im not hating, just wondering. being in the navy ive been to over a dozen countries and up and down the east coast. ive been to some of the most awesome places around the world but non of them could convince me to stay for 6 weeks.......theres just no place like home.
I haven't seen my parents or my brother in 5 years. What place is so awesome? My mother's arms

I was wondering what kinda procedures should I follow as a "prep" before I go

1) Tire pressure
2) Wash car
3) Empty Tank? Fill up tank?
4) Wax car?
5) Cover car?
(Indoor parking. Some sources online say that I should not cover car and leave window slightly open if indoor parking)

Any tips whatsoever will be greatly appreciated!!
You really should just pull the key before you go and crank it up after you are back. Really that's about it.

There shouldn't even be any problem with the battery. As fore the tire pressure... you live in the north hemisphere, right?

It's not like your leaving for 6 years. Enjoy your really long (jelly) vacation and then enjoy your car when you get back!

Btw guys, do I really have to worry about my handbrake?

I'm running out of time and don't have clamps ahaha. Or will it be fine for 6 weeks?

Thanks!
