Hot lava action!
No pictures yet finishing up the paperwork and detailing. But got the colour I originally wanted Hot Lava 6speed. Pictures coming soon!
Sorry been busy this is the only picture ive been able to snap, while i was making them clean the glue left on from the plastic. Haha one of those guys was trying to park it for me, and he didn't realize you had to pull up on the stick shift to get it to go into reverse. He also didn't realize i was watching from the office window cracking up cuz i knew exactly what was going on when he wasnt going into reverse and kept inching closer to a 4runner. I have gotten to drive it quite a bit however, i've almost put 100 miles on it today. So much fun! It's been a big adjustment from my old car a Nissan Sentra SER Spec V. But all in great ways, the nissan was a fun econobox with a little extra power. You can really feel that the FRS was built for much greater things. My evening drive through downtown go cut short however, i was very dissapointed. Detours were fun too though. Hell parking is fun in this car. I still haven't had much of a chance to play around with much of the interior do-dads. Just paired up my cellphone to it. Great day, now to look up what i can get locally and what i need to talk to Carson Toyota about. Last edited by LeavingNormal; 06-03-2012 at 05:13 AM. Reason: adding pictures and comments |

Love that hot lava. That was my original order color, but changed to argento. Kinda wish I'd stayed with the hot lava.

Yeah I went bak and forth between hot lava and whiteout. But availability blessed me with Hot Lava and I have zero regrets! It's very unique especially in the sun, it's not that ugly copper colour some cars have.

I really like the hot lava. I'm not a fan of orange on most cars but it just looks completely sexy on the FR-S.

I normally don't go through a tank of gas so fast, but i also didnt enjoy driving so much before. I'm averaging about 22.1 mpg. This is based on a lot of backroads driving to work, and a lot of Highway driving from work. About 50 miles in each direction. And saturday was about the same 50/50 city/hwy. Its pretty close to what i was getting before on my Spec V.

Thanks TnT!
Ha just found the last picture I took of my old Nissan Sentra SER Spec V. At least I never have to say that long ass name anymore. |
