The miatia is a RC model. But i don't think brz is lighter.

yeah this is the second time an article had said that about the weights. If they can be of by that much with something as objective as weight,I wonder about their subjective opinions

"Uuhhhhhhnnnn I'm gonna get a used 370Z instead, *complaint* *complaint* *complaint*" To that I say "Good luck!" More fun for the rest of us And yes, according to them, the MX-5 with power retractable hardtop weighs more than the BRZ. The cloth-top model will of course weigh less.

Correct. Both the BRZ and 370z have hard roofs, so it was the correct choice to use in the comparison.
