My Whiteline end links have little rub marks and that's it, and I'm clearly also on the soft hole. No issues on track either, so I don't know what to say

Does anyone know the spring inner diameter, outer diameter, and length for these things off the top of their heads?

for the mi20 kit

I.D is 2.5" (63.5mm)
Length 200mm
60N/mm f&r
Not sure on the O.D

The instructions say the I.D is 65mm but it is incorrect.

got my Ohlins MP20 spring rate f4kg/r3kg , normal daily driving very comfortable. Performance wise , i was quit disappointed, I get bottoming out very often between55-70km hitting bumps.

I don't understand why the new spec ohlins is equipped with the spring rate that soft.

To be honest the 60N front and rear isn't fantastic about bottoming out. The mp20 kit runs a bit more preload so bump travel is a bit longer to compensate the softer rate. Perhaps a set of Bilsteins b6 and some lowering springs will work better for you.

When you are lowering the springs and use moderate rates, then you have more issues with bottoming. A solution used in a rally car was to to increase the suspension height and use stiffer spring rates.

Rally suspension is a different kettle of fish though, for a start the forces are way beyond anything you see in a road racecar.

Hydraulic bumpstops and progessive damping are often used in a well setup rally damper.

Back on track,

Have you tried the MI20 kit? What are the damper settings? Personally I dont recommend anything less than 12 clicks on the MI20.

Back on track,

I was referring on tarmac rally setup. Thanks.

Interesting reading in this thread, really helped me a lot making a decision to buy these.
Just trying to get everything dialed up but I like firmer in the back, less in front hopefully to try and minimize understeer in hard cornering.

The comfort is definitely very on par with stock but with less lean. Only a tiny bit more noise with the front pillow ball top mounts I am using.

Running some camber in the front also to try and offset any understeer this system might introduce.

Looking forward to doing some track time next spring.

The biggest factor for me deciding on Ohlins was the daily driving comfort with minimal compromise. The consensus was that this product is one of the best for road and track just as the name implies.

How much camber are the front top hats able to dial in w/o using camber bolts at the bottom? I assume it should be enough to dial in -2.5, right?

Thanks guys!

When my alignment guy did a sweep, he was able to get to ~-2.8/3 degrees, so yes. Although I didn't think they sold these with camber plates any more...

Mine maxed out at -2.7 on one side.

Yes the new mp20 kit has optional top mounts

Yeah they are supposed to go with the oem top mounts so anything that's supposed to go on the oem strut should fit them. I use mine with velox adjustable top mounts in the front and oem bearing in the rear. Öhlins are using some spacecraft grade bearings in their top mounts and they are not worth the money (500ish a pop).
