KW V3 Setup

Let's see your setup! Engine is getting Crawford's built block a day after my KW V3 and Vorshlag top hat install. Want to see other peoples setup before I take it to get my alignment done. A big thanks to Randy at Evasive Motorsports for the install and great customer service!!

Good choice on the vorshlag top hats. With the KWv3 it's a great street setup for sure.

Perhaps just pic but front looks really low. I have same setup V plates and all. I noticed going any lower then 1 3/8ths lower then stock ride and feel suffered. Likely due to roll Center. Also in rear I put Voodoo LCA which gave me another 1.5" of stroke which also really helped a lot to keep within optimum operating range. Honestly I may raise them in spring when pull car out again and goto 1.250" lower then stock. While being low looks cool there is a breaking point where ride and connected feeling starts to suffer. Cheers

Thanks for the input! Yes it does look too low. I guess I'd have to measure a stock twin from the ground to the rocker to get the actual drop I have. I hope the passenger side can be adjusted with the camber bolt and that's why there is more camber on that side. I don't want more than -2 camber in the rear and in the front. I've never had LCA'S on a car so I'll have to wait and see once it gets aligned and corner balanced if I need some LCA'S.

Zero toe all round and -2 at most all corners imo. If you're just DD with odd track day you'll get away with -1.5 all around camber wise and have less inner wear. If you have no rear LCA and you are 1.5" or lower you're likely near -3 degrees or more, which is well.... a ton, too much really.

What's your wheel size and offset and tires?

Note best measurement point is center of axle to bottom middle of fender @ 90 degrees straight up....., this eliminates the difference is tire and wheel size and gives accurate account of how much you are lowered. Goto a dealer or find friend with (stock) frs measure that front and back then you will know exactly how much you have lowered.

When I was on my eibach pros I was at -1.4 front and -2 in the rear. Waiting for my short block to be put in by Crawford Performance.

Yeah I don't want more than -2 of camber. It's daily driven and canyon run on occasion.

Stock height measuring as you suggested is 14.5 inches at every corner.

Perfect. There you go OP that's your base.

I'm at 13.00" from Center to Center of fender bottom therefore 1.500" lower basically, like I said I'm going to raise up this spring. Check and see what you"re at and then you'll know.

That being said -1.5 would do you fine all around. With your size and offset it would look better to if that counts.
