It amazes me how this kit transforms the car. It's like I'm learning how to drive it all over again! Attachment 70121

Maybe...

I'm still taking it easy though. Checking all the connections after every drive to make sure all is well. Call me paranoid, but having peace of mind is important

I don't think I've had the stereo on since I started it up for the first time Sunday

It may just be me, but when I'm cruising in a parking lot, I always look around to see if anyone notices the bypass... so far nobody has.

Anything like the Vortech one? Was watching a video of Dezoris's car and thought that I'd probably shoot myself my car made that blow-off noise constantly.

It's more of a fairly low wooshing sound, not a BOV sound. It's just the bypass bleeding off the boost when you're off throttle. You can only hear it at parking lot speeds because it's not very loud.

At high RPM/freeway speeds, the car sounds like a turbo car because... essentially it's a belt driven turbo compressor. It's nice for scaring Evos/STIs that recognize that sound, and assume a turbo....

I get what you're saying, but the condition in Dezoris's video is off-throttle slowing down and it sounds fairly annoying. You saying it's quieter than what's occurring in his video as he transitions to off-throttle?

I personally don't find it loud, but you can hear it if you listen for it.

Plus, it helps drown out the crickets... Win win in my books

Do you guys think it's safe to drive with an aftermarket header on the JR carb map? I might have to drive a long ways to a tuner.

It is not the ideal condition especially since the tune was meant to be used with factory cats. How far are you talking about?
