Am I wrong In assuming that if a bbk clears the oem wheels it will likely clear most after market wheels?

Wrong. BBK clearance depends a lot from spoke shape design. Same with not safe to assume if eg. BBK clears some 17", then all 18" should clear.
So just find wheels you like design of, and then check clearance. Find threads here or on BBK vendor product description page if wheels in size you want are among ones that clear, also you can get/download brake clearance templates from most of BBK vendors. Glue on carton, cut template out, check in wheel shop clearance on the wheel. Or send link to template to some online wheel shop and ask for them to check clearance.

17 in wheels that will fit stoptech st22 rear bbk

Does anyone know if there are any 17 in wheels that will clear stoptech st22 rear brakes? I only need them to fit the rear since I’m drag racing and need to run drag radials .

Only wheel that might is te37 17x9.5. I had test fit on the front which I have the 355 kit and there was 1-2mm clearance. But wasn’t comfortable running them. Didn’t test the rear but since it’s 345 guessing probably would fit.

Right on man ! Right now I’m running Advan Gt 18x9.5 with 255/35/18 Bridgestone potenza all the way around and I cant launch very well and spins part or second gear. I’m making 355whp . Just in case I can’t get the 17 to fit witch means no Mickey Thompson SS.does any one have recommendations on what brand of tire in 18in is the stickiest and will fit in the rear with out rubbing?

Nice, I’m running around 320whp and have the titan7 18x9.5 w/ 255/35 Yokohama A052 for track use. They have tons of grip. I don’t launch my car though.

Does anyone have a template for the front PP brembos or know where to find one? I got the aftermarket brembo kit caliper template from racetechnologies but those appear to be different calipers than the PP kit. I need to check clearance on my winter wheels. I went through the PP brembo thread already. Thanks in advance for any info.

Has anyone tried the stock 17x7 +48 wheels with the front ctsv brembo swap? Would I need 18s to fit or would stocks work with spacers? Thanks.
