Anybody got an A/C delete pulley for sale?
Just want to ask about the harness/coilpack issue. So you bought a harness of a 2015 to go in a 2013 car? was it plug n play? I have a 2014 and in the future for going more to track events, is it possible to use a 2015 coilpack? or the 2014 has an updated harness and coilpack?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Subaru sells a newer engine harness with the right connectors. @Opie can provide the part number.

For a 2015 engine into a 2013 car we used the updated harness with the water temp and oil temp sensors from the 2013 engine as they are also different. Otherwise it is plug and play.

For your case you'd swap engine harnesses to the 2014 update harness or splice the new coil pack connectors into the original 2014 harness. Plus of course the 2015+ coil packs.

As Dave-Ror said, Subaru makes updated harnesses to use the better coil packs in the older cars. These coil packs have a couple of advantages; better grounding, better shielding, updates to the solder joints and the new style coil packs.

In 2015 they went to a new style coil pack (P/N:22433AA730) and the harness connector is different compared to the older 2013-2014 style. If you have a 2013 or a 2014 there are updated engine harnesses available to use the updated (improved) coil packs. The harnesses also have the improved shielding and grounding the 2015 and newer models got.

For 2013 models the updated harness is P/N: 24020AG620
For 2014 models the updated harness is P/N: 24020AG080
NOTE: There is no interchange between the old and new parts. For example, the new part number engine harness and new part number ignition coils must be installed as a set. You cannot use the newer coil packs with the old harness and you cannot use the older coil packs with the new harness.

It is all part of TSB #07-120-17R to Address DTCs P0351, P0352, P0353 and / or P0354

haha she wanted it at first. Until she realized how impractical it was for her. My GF went through the same process with the Hot Lava FRS we rebuilt.
