Quick Question???

Ordered my brz from a dealer 11/28 (DGM manual limited) and was gave an estimated delivery time to be around late January early February. Based on other threads I now see that orders have been delayed untill march 2013 does this affect me?

Since your in NJ I would guess you have a better chance than most others to get one quicker, also try checking further NE there are probably more than a few available.

That's crazy!! If I ordered a car in November it would probably be a 2014MY to arrive after July at the earliest.

Depending on where you ordered in NJ will place you in either the Eastern Region or the Subaru Distributors Corporation.

The ER reports to Subaru of America.

The SDC reports directly to Subaru of Japan.

This is why your order/ETA might vary from other people in other regions.

Ya just never Know. I ordered(with deposit) my BRZL June 20, 2012, took delivery Nov. 30, I think my 6AT option was a big delay issue.

Mac

The Dealer said "Sometime in August, No problem"

its true just do not lose sleep over the date. The deliveries are also based upon the dealership getting their order quotas. Only reason I am getting my car in less than 90 days is because my dealer did not finish out their order quota they were given so the order had been pushed through ahead of dealers that already got their BRZ's for the year. I hope you do get your car in February though, that would be awesome!

my dealer in NJ said august when I ordered in early June. Just picked my car up few weeks ago mid-Nov. So you never know.

I would suggest you call SOA directly with you order number and confirm the Feb date, if you really want to be sure.

Yea, or ding in NJ doesn't mean anything. I ordered mine from Cherry Hill, a mile from SOA main office.... They didn't a demo til June.

I ordered in March, was first on their list and also had first of their allotment to arrive....mine came in June 26 but I was told May... And their next two cars were for dealership, not orders....was really odd.

It is all a numbers game right now. Who has what and gets what. I have consistently contacted my dealer and SOA and I think I am probably getting on SOA's nerves but honestly, for a $28,000 car, I want to know what is going on. Hopefully will have a VIN this week as a couple days ago they still said no later than end of December. In the Midwest by the way so I am expecting a 2 week delivery or so once it hits a port.

I think you'll be OK. I heard that SoNE wouldn't be getting any BRZ's between January and February, but that's because we're the only region that actually has cars on dealer lots. I'm pretty sure ordered cars will go through like normal. Subaru has suddenly ramped up production of all the cars that come out of the Gunma plant big-time! Our dealer got over 25 Imprezas, 6 WRX's, and 8 XV Crosstreks this month, after having almost none last month.
