Hmm...

I might tackle this sometime soon. Anyone had luck with removing the chip from the valet key? It looks a lot simpler than removing the transponder from regular key.

I'm guessing what you're saying is programming the new key with the ehow method which won't work because there isn't a chip in the new key. (The flip key)

I took the chip from the valet key and the buttons from my regular key and it works perfectly! Didnt have to damage my key in order to get the chip

i went to the dealership and got a blank key and had them program it.

needless to say i paid $400 total. 100 for key and 300 to program it. not worth it IMO

Has anyone bought this key or can confirm that it works? The default picture shows our existing key but the buttons look to be different on the flip key.
