Pockmarks on windows?

I've been washing my FRS at least once every 5 days since I got it a month ago with using ONR 2 bucket method (splitting the car up into 16 panels, washing and drying each) and then going over the windows and windshield with Stoners and a clean, new Cobra microfiber. I just noticed today that there appear to be dozens of tiny pockmarks on every window surface of the car. You can barely feel them with your finger and you can see the sunlight reflects differently on them in the right conditions.

It looks like it might be something reacting to the tint or finish on the windows, but Stoners is supposed to be safe for all Auto glass. Anyone else ever seen this/have any thoughts?

It's bittersweet to see another person have the same issue - I'm thinking it might be an issue with the glass itself since it's on every surface and I've been taking pretty good care of the car thus far. Has anyone else experienced this? I searched the forum and didn't find anything else, but maybe people just haven't noticed it yet.

My dealer told me it was part of the UV protection on the glass. No idea if thats true or not.

Do you mean that "woven" pattern? Most all auto glass these days has that. I see it a lot on Mercs and BMWs.

It's the UV protection of the glass. Now you won't get skin cancer driving your car! Ha. It's way more noticeable with polarized sunglasses.

I'm referring to actual pockmarks - you can actually feel them in the glass, almost like road rash, but it's on every window surface. I'm familiar with the UV protection, but this is something separate that's physically a pockmark as opposed to the visual effect of the UV protection.

Here's an example (photo isn't great quality). All those little white marks you see are what I'm talking about. The light hits them differently and you can feel them in the glass.

Could be sand or grit chips. The surface of windshields is not that hard. Have you been driving in gritty area? I have seen this on other windshields.

I would have thought the same thing, but it's on every single window surface, including side and rear so I don't think it could just be grit at high speeds. Thinking I'll take it into the dealer and have them take a look and make any suggestions.
