Car looks so good from behind...

Looking forward to exhaust vid comparison as well. What kind of adjustments did you need to make to fix your resonator clearance issue? Much bending involved?

Is it weird that I love visiting forum pages to look at pictures of peoples' cars where I own the same car?

I don't care. I'm addicted and I'm not getting help.

I also love seeing our cars pre-delivery. My salesguy was supercool and sent me pics of my car still on the truck when it came in:

My car now (nearly five years later):

I had to loosen some of the connectors further down the pipes and re-tighten them after pulling them apart a bit, if that makes sense. The extra length from doing that slightly pulled the resonator further away from the driver's side frame. And then some extra yanking at the exhaust hangers to get every last millimeter possible.

That's awesome, I would have loved some pics of my car on the truck. I also wish they let me pull the wheel plastic off like they did with the rest. I know they probably think they're doing me a favor with all that prep work (which most customers probably appreciate), but I get a lot of satisfaction by having it in the exact condition it left the factory in. Kind of like when you open a new expensive phone/game console/gadget. I don't want someone else opening the box and setting it up for me, half the fun is doing it all myself.

Also, sweet car. I always appreciate anyone who enjoys doing a few tasteful mods while having enough restraint to not completely ruin the car (no offense, wide-body fans).

Putting it together right now. Took dashcam & rear GoPro recordings at the same time so I can switch between inside and outside sounds.

Nice ride bro! I work at a Subaru so to me, the whole shipping plastic experience is an everyday occurrence, but I agree that it's extremely satisfying to be the guy to take the plastic off himself! I love when people request that it stay on because it proves they really are trying to care for this car.

That sounds great... pretty subtle noise increase but a nice deep tone. Will have to add this to my list to consider.

How do you like the A119S dashcam? I just ordered one 2 days ago...

Love it. Have a (non-S) A119 in my other (daily) car, which was good enough to convince me to try the A119S in my BRZ. I like the shape and design because it's not very visible from outside, and the video quality is fantastic.

2017.05.19: Took the BRZ to a local tint shop (Utah Window Tint) to go as low as Utah legal limits allow. Legal is 43%/Any%/Any%, so I did 50%/5%/5% + 5% AS1 sun strip on windshield. 3M Color Stable all around. Comparison photos:

$367.56 out the door after tax. Pricey compared to other places I got quotes from, but they did a fantastic job so I don't regret it.

Exhaust sounds great! Nice deep tone without being obnoxious and raspy. Glad you got the fitment sorted out.

Will be working from the header back on my build and stock catback may stay on if it starts getting to loud. Want the HP gain and front weight loss more that the sound with UEL headers

First fueling after three weeks of ownership. Too bad Utah doesn't have 93 octane anywhere though.
