Android Head Unit Problem?

I recently installed a Joying Android head unit in my 2014 BRZ:

https://www.joyingauto.com/joying-ne...-4gb-32gb.html

I'm pretty sure I got everything wired correctly, but when I drive my car, there is a small but noticeable decrease in performance. It feels slightly worse than when I drive with the AC on. I unplugged the head unit and it drives normal again, plug the head unit back in and this sluggishness reappears.

Is the new head unit really making the alternator work that much harder? or could I have wired something incorrectly that would cause this issue?

That's really odd. I've had two Android head units and never experienced this.

Does A/C means Air condition ? I guess two problems here. First,Wiring harness, ensure every wiring match right cable with car. Second, the canbus issue, stereo is not compatible with your auto's model. so, you need check reset and reconnect.or reach out to joying's stereo engineer to figure out details.
