Frisky (FRiSky) is nearly six years old and still looks fantastic!

I bought my 2013 Scion FR-S in July 2012.

Initially, I wanted a BRZ Limited because of the keyless entry, pushbutton start, leather seats, etc., but the local Subaru dealers were charging $5,000 above MSRP and I wasn't having any of that.

For once, the no-haggle pricing (which I typically hate) of Scion, Saturn, Carmax, etc. worked in my favor and that's when I picked up Frisky.

It's been nearly six years (for someone who keeps a car for less than 1-1/2 years on average, this is huge), and I still love looking at her each and every day (and driving her, too, of course!):

Very nice and looks well maintained. When these cars first came out, I thought they looked pretty ugly, but they grew on me, and I think they look fantastic now.

I'm one of the few people I think that prefers the FR-S over the BRZ. I like the simplicity of the FR-S and more aggressive bumper. Around here BRZs have a bit of a premium to this day.

I totally prefer the look of the FR-S's aggressive bumper over the BRZ - I just wanted the spoiled features.

I'm not a fan of the big band of plastic on the BRZ's bumper - it just seems ill-designed to me. On a much subtler note, I also prefer the FR-S's 86 boxer logo on the sides of the fenders rather than the fins on the BRZ.

Sadly, Toyota killed the logo with the death of Scion and put a similar item to the BRZ's on the current GT86.

I belong to a Pacific NW GT86/FRS/BRZ club and know a few BRZ owners who committed the ultimate sin and did a bumper swap!

This is where I sheepishly say just ~25,250 miles. Yup, that's about 4,545 miles a year. Plus, it's my only car and I drive for work.

The culprit? The instant the weather gets remotely nice here in the PNW, I'm on my bike:

It's hard to choose between the two! I feel like I'm cheating on Frisky!

Nice bike. That's about 7,500km per year. I'm driving 10,000 so not far off!

3/12 years 110K. Should have been over 150K by now except my travel needs for work got cut back.

Mine is not nearly so pretty anymore.
