Jackson Racing Supecharger
Hi all,
I am looking at buying a jackson racing supercharger for my scion FRS. I want to also do the pulley upgrade, but it says i need a new fuel pump and injectors. Could someone link me some upgrades or help me out with this? I currently fuel my car with 94 Octane. |

The C30 supercharger with a HBP is fine for stock engine, but you are pushing it. Running a HBP on 94 is ok.... its not ideal, E85 is recommended with the HBP |

Don't get me wrong, it can be risky. But many many many people do it. And yes having s built motor is always better. If you look at other applications people are pushing 350-400 on stock motor and running strong. It's all about the upkeep and the driving styles, imo. |

A C38 with a custom tune will be in the 260ish WHP range. A C30 with the HBP will be in the 300ish WHP, 370 if you run a header and E85. I strongly recommend reading the owners thread. Also if you plan to track your car I would get an oil cooler. I have a C30 running around 250, and tracking the car definitely makes the oil cooler worth it. |

@VABeachBRZ So I don't need a flex fuel kit because I don't run E85 correct? Also i'm driving an AT FRS, so I don't need a new clutch or flywheel, but would a High Output Torque Converter be beneficial at all?

My understanding is the C38 is mainly for built engine/E85 users?

Not true. In Factory Tuned trim they make the same power as they utilize the same pulley size. The C38 allows you to run all of the Jackson racing configurations (High boost pulley, RS Bracket & Pulley). The C30 can only run up to the High Boost Pulley.
