ECUTEK ECU Emergency

Any help would be appreciated.

inside of @EcuTek My ECU is showing as ZA1JA00A, which appears to be a JDM version. Im not in japan, im in the us and bought my car here. I have a feeling my tuner somehow flashed a JDM map to my car and changed the ecu. That could also explain the issues i have with cruise control not working maybe...

Is that possible?

And if so, is there a way to flash the ecu back to a US version?

I tried to flash a stock map, as well as the @AVOturboworld map and it wont let me giving me the error shown in the image.

Ugh....my tuner is driving me crazy...

You can flash with any ROM revision, unfortunately. The reason the cruise control isn't working is because you are going faster than the Japanese speed limit, which is 110km/h.
You may also experience cel/idle issues.

What you may need to do is flash it back to a standard non-racerom ROM, then re-flash it with the proper ROM.

Paul.

I tried to flash back to the standard rom that you provided previously, and it says i cannot flash to a non-racerom...I can get the error and post here in a minute. And i know these worked previously, as i used them initially on my car, and even flashed back to them when troublshooting the cruisecontrol issue. It seems that something my tuner did in the more recent roms is what swithed the ecu....yet hi older maps can still be flashed too. Weird.
