But, I'm generally pretty open and friendly with folks, so I feel like I get back what I give.

But I've been to two of their meets. First impressions are everything right? I've been to the irvine one multiple times and my experience is always the same. And all of the southbay people try to keep in contact with me. Because of school, I can't make it out. Mish regularly talks to me and openly invites me to every cruise / event they have, even if it's weekly. Even randomly he'll just ask me how I'm doing and how's school going.

Like I said this is my experience. I look 14 and I don't even look like I can drive. People don't talk to me because my car is "stanced". I drive an auto. I tend to not have good experiences at any frs meets which is why I almost never attend.

I was just simply stating my experience, nothing more. A lot of people have stated there's but I'm always singled out lol.

Good for you. If anyone knows Mish and how he runs his Facebook group, you'd know that everyone he encounters receives this kind of treatment.

before i sold my frs, i went to the meet about two or three times, no one really comes up to talk to you, unless you have a nice car. before when my car was just lowered on nt03s, not many people said anything.
all of a sudden i change up my setup and everyone wants to be my friend.

anyways, you guys are all like 40 years old and act like 16 year olds on this forum, getting mad over the internet

My experience was the same as everyone else. I'd rather attend the SoCal Valley meet again but I can't due to working the late shifts. The irvine meet is the only day I am available and the meet is mediocre at best. It's long past it's prime and is slowly dying out. I'm just surprised at everyone's hostility. Seriously. We're suppose to be an 86 community. The negative experiences should be can be seen as things to improve on and make the meet better but you guys are just spending your time arguing / getting defensive and everyone is offended over small things.

I attended the meet a few times and I got to say every time was the same. I got to admit it's pretty hard to approach people at this meet. I got brushed off a couple of times when I was trying to ask about a FRS that was supercharged on how the driving experience has changed from stock to FI. I actually asked the dude the first time and I thought he didn't hear me, then I asked a second time after 30 sec or so and he looked at me and just walked off. I've met a couple of people at this meet that I still keep in contact with like PradIG. But it just see,ed kinda hard to talk to people in groups. They just throw off a vibe or an aura I guess. Maybe I should check out the South Bay meets sometime @PradiG
