Last-minute plea for changes - add yours

Admittedly there is little Scion can change from the near-production prototypes they showed last night on their production versions as time is short. But some relatively simple changes might be possible in the next 3 months before the production details would have to be set in stone. They'll no doubt be monitoring our responses to last night's reveal. So tell them - what would you like to see altered?

My requests:
  • PLEASE make the Scion badge on the steering wheel smaller, it's too big and ugly - better still get rid of the chrome and have the logo appear as just an impression in the "leather"
  • Red stitching is OK but no red accents on seat shoulder supports
  • at the very least put a hinged cover on the open slot below the HVAC controls, and it should have the faux carbon fibre finish
  • do SOMETHING to make that HU integrate better into the dash
  • fix the horrible gap and awkward joins where the centre stack left and right edge panels meet the horizontal gearshift/driveshaft cover

For the love of God!

Will you people stop whining already?

If the Scion isn't well equipped enough for your tastes... buy the Subaru.

LOL, you're the ones whining - others can offer constructive suggestions that would cost very little and improve the vehicle's saleability.

as soon as I get some seat time w/ my FR-S, all of that stuff mentioned above will be ripped out and stored in the garage. They will be replaced by some sanctioned approved racing seats and steering wheel with QR, as well as some gauges. I hope the car come as bare and minimal as possible.

If you don't like Scion, try Subaru.
I can't see anything wrong on your requests list.

isnt it a bit too late for your "requests"?... just about everything you stated that you dislike, is fixable and you can do yourself.

Dear Scion,

Strip the car even more, no radio, ac, or carpets, and give us some fixed back racing seats. Do everything you can to get the poseurs to hate this car so none of them buy it, that way I never see some guy who thinks he's Edward from Twilight driving my car

Then again, Suba-who? To most people, they don't even know the Subaru exist lol... Especially if they named themselves Scion FR-S...

Haha! I'm glad I went out last night instead of surfing the boards. These people complaining about all that's missing in the car are probably the same people that want it to be under $20k.
