Well it might be 20lbs lighter than the stock battery but it's a similar size and has 1500CCA so it's no motorcycle toy.

I am running a PWC battery in mine. Almost 2 years and no issues so far. Plus it was cheap

That is one expensive battery.......

Don't car electrical systems mess those up without some extra components to smooth out the flow?

Correct on both accounts. But this one is kind of a smart battery so it claims a 7-9 year lifespan..

This is actually true. One set of slicks that cost a week's pay each may last two weekends at the strip if we didn't get that many runs in.
