The door stabilizer is an intriguing concept.

I was hoping to see a supercharger though.

lol I'm loving the daily leaks. Not loving a lot of those parts (some will be good, some will have better non trd pieces available and some are just not my thing).. but...

What do you think about the suspension stuff? Have you used TRD suspension upgrades at all? I notice your car selection in your sig... seems like you might have seen a track a time or two.

TRD Suspension, Well! I used to have an ST205 Celica GT-Four and had the TRD Coilover Suspension, not cheap! BUT AMAZING I loved it!
Was a bit harsh for day to day road use in the UK with our crap roads and potholes everywhere, but on decent roads and the track it was pure joy!

Yea that's what I was hoping for. I figured with all the Testing at the Nurburgring the car's TRD suspension package should be pretty awesome for the track.

I have never driven TRD suspension on the track. The only TRD suspension I've ever driven was on a MR2T and I don't even remember what it had (just TRD springs I think? I can't remember, this was over a decade ago). I'd assume it's special order Showa's or similar. I doubt it'll be a good as some of the aftermarket parts for track use (Showa's are GREAT but the chances that a TRD part will really be tuned specifically for the track isn't likely, it's not the target market), but I'm guessing they'll be very good for the street.

I'll leave mine stock until I have at least 2-3 weekends at the track under it's belt so I can see what I feel it needs changed. It's said to understeer, but it's mac strut so with a few upper plates we should be able to have caster and camber adjustability and toe adj stock of course, so alignment can tune some of that out. After that it'll depend on what the aftermarket provides for me. I'm a huge fan of custom Koni's with custom rate springs and threaded sleeves over the normal JDM brands that tend to favor understeer, or Penske, N1 type Showas, etc over that.. but that's serious money..

Whatever it is, whenever someone buys them I'd love for that person to send them to Koni to have them tested on their shock dyno, that's where most of the entry to mid level JDM stuff shows it's weaknesses. High end Showa shocks are flat out amazing, so if the TRD stuff uses something like that.. it should be impressive if they sorted spring rates well (and if not, just get custom rate springs).

Also they'd be able to provide spring rates I believe, which I'm not sure if TRD releases. I have a problem buying anything performance related with only marketing statements :P
