A little information about the Automatic

Since they claim to be using the IS-F tranny (modifed of course), here is a great read on some of the technical details of the automatic.

For the lazy folk:

The car only shifts when you want it to, not when it thinks you should.

So in M, it will let you bang off the rev limiter?

In gears 2-8, there is no drivetrain loss over a manual transmission.

So there is no difference in power to the wheels while in M?

Simply tap the downshift paddle and you are given temporary M-mode. If you come to a stop or cruise at a speed for too long, it will return to D-mode.

So you don't have to worry about hitting any buttons when you want to have fun
