BRZ CDN specs up at Subaru.ca!

A full spec sheet and descriptions have been posted:
http://www.subaru.ca/content/7907/Me...%2012%20EN.pdf
http://www.subaru.ca/WebPage.aspx?Ar...&WebSiteID=282
http://www.subaru.ca/content/7907/Me...%2012%20EN.pdf

The big news: contrary to earlier reports, nav will be standard on the Premier level.

Weight for Premier MT is 1,255 kg or about 2760 lbs.

Interesting tidbits previously unknown:

- Height-adjustable driver’s seat
- Remote fuel door release
- Seatback pocket on front passenger seat

And that makes me a bit nervous, it's as if they don't want the bad news to come out when everyone is so aware of the US prices due to the publicity today.

Lets just hope Subaru Canada doesn't decide to rip off Canadian buyers as much.

Think this is sub only or just more detailed specs of the car overall? Would seem odd to have that stuff different on the factory line.

Also, I found this alarming: Recommended fuel 93 octane reg is 87, mid is 89, and premium is 91. 93 is not exactly common around here (and it's $$$)

^Wondering the same. None are mentioned on the FR-S features page. The seat features could be unique as we know the seat fabrics are different.

Even though 93 octane is recommended, the car will accept 91 octane without issue. Also, Sunoco used to have 94 octane gas. Now that they are all converted to Petro-Canada, most Petro stations have 94 octane.

Don't hang me if I'm wrong but my dealer just e-mailed me to tell me the Premier should be landing somewhere between $26,600 and $26,900.

He said he doesn't know for the Sport Tech quite yet.

That would be very very nice. I think I'd be waving bye-bye to Scion at that price. I just wish there were more paint options here.

Yeah, that's the biggest bummer to me. If Subaru was going to rape us on the price I was going to see about changing to an Aquamarine FR-S.

Colours are truly stupid - white, silver, black, and (forgive me) Subaru Retch Blue. WTF?!?
