Not driving your car to make sure it's resale value stays high is like not F*cking your gf to make her more desireable for the next guy.

Well played Mistersheep

While I agree this is common knowledge to most, at least it was well written and laid out. This is good advice and I feel the forum would benefit from more similarly sound(but maybe not quite so well known) concepts being written up in an easy to grasp and easy to find fashion. The internet is a big place with a lot of untrustworthy information if you don't know what you're looking for. Turns out repeating "just research it" and "use the search function" doesn't help anyone

I agree completely. There should be a newbie section on the forum. To be honest I kind of looked for one when I joined. And it would be a great idea to have a thread like this of common knowledge about these cars as some people have explain perfectly. The internet is a very large and unfriendly/untrustworthy place, and it is growing bigger every second.

So why don't the mods or whoever make a section for info like this and those who feel "above" helping noobs with their noob questions don't have to see it. Wouldn't want them to have to waste their precious posts telling someone to go search for the 50th time

I was of course being extremely sarcastic. I don't think anyone who comes onto this form actually feels that way.

My post was totally facetious

I didn't say a stock car was worth more...

You may need to work on your reading comprehension skillz...

I didn't say a stock car was worth more. I said that if you try and sell a majorly modified car, you likely will get little more and potentially less than a stock car and to maximize your money, don;t plan on selling your car for a while or sell the mods separately and the car as stock...

Worth and saleability are completely different things.
