Simple, a pinch of obnoxious, half a cup of ego and a dash of reckless

i never progressed far enough to stand on the ball, but was able to confidently kneel on it. it was crazy the amount of effect it had on balance control. i could come to a stop and stand in place for almost 5 minutes on the bike.

and then i got into cars, and the bike went into the basement...

I have seen people stand on those at the gym and videos of people jumping from one to another. I have tried getting up on one and have ate shit every time. Props on being able to kneel on one. I could only trackstand if I was standing up. Except on my DH bike, head angle was too slack for my sense of balance. I still have 3 bikes, can't remember the last time I rode them though

i tried plenty of times before that, that article was where i learned the trick was to slowly progress up to that point in very small steps.

patience has never been my strong suit!

New year, new job!

Got a call this afternoon from the place I interviewed with a couple days ago. He said that they chose me, and I’d be hearing from HR next week about pay, vacation and benefits.

What a rush!

Assuming the pay, vacation, and benefits are up to your expectations... CONGRATULATIONS!
