Garrett G25-660 G-Series
hi!
Has anyone tried the new G25-660 turbo on an FRS? I really saw good news about spooling and top end at the same time, but no actual dyno info anywhere. On a WRX on youtube about 450 whp. Would this turbo be better than gtx 3071 gen 2 and the others? |

The only new kits that I'm aware of that are shipping with the new G-Series turbos are the new V3 kits from JDL Auto Design. The owner of JDL recently posted a dyno of one of his customer's cars running a G25-550, tuned by Delicious, running E85. The torque dip/spike on the final graph is wheel slip. |

I have the first kit from jdl using g25 660,
They will build you a kit with what ever turbo you like. Built motor is going in right now and turbo kit. Once everything is done and i get the motor broken in i will post dyno. On pump and e85. I also came from ptuning with gen2 gtx 2867r. It was a great kit turbo spooled hella quick. Main reason for switch to jdl is planning to trans swap to cd009. |

I am in the order process of a JDL g25-660 kit as well. What housing did you choose? I was curious whether to choose a GTX3582 gen II with twin scroll + quick spool valve but this seems to be easier and faster. |

Wowo this is impressive! I think this is the right choice! I was eager to get the FBM Stage 2 kit but that is more like for drag racing instead. I am more into track/time attack |
