I have been contemplating selling the car the past few weeks.
Just no time to drive it, but each time I check @g-speed thread, I think the FRS has a bright future ahead.

I still love that car wish I could be on the track more often.

The gas pedal next to its new buddy, the G-Speed gas relocation plate. The plate looks so good it is a shame to have it hidden...

the plate mounted, you can see that everything will not be mounted to the left side and also raised quite a bit.

Now you can see the pedal is very close to the brake pedal, especially considering I also have the cusco gas pedal overlay.

No doubt heel and toe will be easier with he gas pedal closer to the brake pedal, but I think the biggest difference is actually raising the pedal to the same level as the others. For me the heel and toe was always hard because the gas pedal was too low on the ground. No more of that nonsense

I have not yet tested it on the track but feel really good behind the wheel. And such an easy install, it is a must try.

After this far too easy install I tackled something a little more cumbersome...

This week I am also changing my brake pads for the first time since I added the @Apex Sprint kit. I have been very happy with the kit, but I wanted to share some photo of the front pads.
Clearly more worn on the inside pads also a slight tapper (angle) @JRitt ?
Note that I do have the APR brake duct kit on the car.

This is the APR duct kit as it fits with the APEX brake kit

Note that I am switching from Carbotech XP12 to XP10, we'll see if they offer more modulation. With the XP12 in the front, I lock (ABS turns on) often during hard braking corners.

Hello Philooo, nice story.
Thanks for sharing your Harry's story and solution. It is usefull for me.
I just started with it, and I will try soon, to create a video synchronised too.

I changed my stock brake pads in november by the XP10 ones (front & back).
I have the same problem with the "ABS on" on hard brake.
It s like there are some stones between the pads & rotors ... that piss me of too. But I think there is no solution. Or disable the ABS system... But you will have to manage sooner the drift...

One question : you installed your mishimoto Oil Cooler inside the spacer, instead of installing it under the spacer. Why ?

Chuss

It was installed incorrectly. I actually relocated it to its proper position since. May be I should add a mention next to the photo to NOT do it like that

Car is back for sale on Ebay if anyone is interested.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-Scion-F...-/182013806148

I actually wrenched on the car the past 2 weeks to have it perfect:
- ARP studs
- installed new horn
- new brake pads
- new oil cooler hoose, one was leaking a bit.
- relocated oil cooler to proper location
- install gas pedal relocation kit

But with work and pregnant wife I don't think I'll be driving it much ;(

Spread the word

Car has been sold

I am already missing it, but at least it went to a good home.

Overall experience was very positive with the platform, I actually think I'll buy another one in a few years, when i have more spare time.

Great little car and this forum really helped a lot. Shops like G-speed are doing some awesome developments and coming up with some pretty cool aftermarket parts. I think we'll see a lot more of these on the track as they become cheaper to buy used.

so long..farewell..

end of transmission.
