Anyone else experience battery voltage drop spikes into the low 12's when starting to accelerate? Im not sure if this is normal or not but any time I begin to accelerate and the supercharger starts to whine my battery voltage drops to around 12.3v for a second then jumps back to normal at 14.4v at WOT. Anyone know something I can do to help it not drop so low?

My thought would be some kinda short in the throttle control wiring. Or maybe a shit alternator? Strange.

The alternator output is ECU controlled. It's normal for the values to change as the ECU determines if it needs charge or not. I wonder if it reduces load when you suddenly increase load.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone in Ontario (Canada) has the Sprintex intercooled system. How does it do with emissions testing - would it pass?

I live in Ontario and ive got the Innovate Motorsports non intercooled kit. It passed emissions just fine. I think here as long as you don't have a check engine light your good.

alright, here we go. So we put the 335 frs on the dyno-took a while because the factory clutch which was abused by the 210 immediately slipped with the 335 lol.

This is NOT the same dyno as my 210 run (280whp/220wtq) and I plan on going back for a direct apples to apples comparison.

As far as feel goes...the 335 feels significantly stronger than the 210, hands down. Driving wise it feels "the same" but a lot more power. I fear for my engine now lol.

Yes...either building the engine or a swap is in the future. Honestly, I'll probably build out the engine first, and put a tiny pulley on the 335 and see what happens. It's only money, right?

You could always drop the compression a bit

Yeah, I go back and forth on that. It just seems that dropping it seems to result in some disappointing numbers. Obviously we'd up the boost to compensate, but still...

The boost lag would be murder. Probably blow out the bottom end trying to city drive it.

Ehhh yeah you're right. Just gotta get your rods hard as Shit. Not sure how much compression the block can handle though

At those power ratings I wouldn't be too scared. WOT at low speeds is the only thing to be concerned with when in a higher gear. The rods will be stressed. If you build it, I'd only drop the compression a point.

Not too sure about that man. I'm pretty sure even the 210 has bent rods in full boost at low RPM.
