Installed the kit and added a switch so I can go back to stock whenever I want. It was pretty easy to install

Does the flex fuel kit put out a straight proportional voltage? IE, 0% ethanol = 0v and 100% ethanol = 5v? If so, does that mean it will work with other kits that do the same, like the Zeitronix one? Or cheaper/more dangerous, the manual pot that was mentioned earlier.

Can Torque display the current ethanol content?

Just bought the FFTEC flex fuel kit and am taking Shiv up on his free custom e-tuning 😊

One question: does anyone know if it would be possible to use Torque to display the current ethanol content reported by the flex fuel kit?

Thanks

It should work with any flex kit set up to connect into the evap pressure on the ecu.

you may need to tweak the tables for e% vs voltage if their are differences in sensor calibration most kits put out 0 to 5v.

you can also just switch the evap inut from earth to open circuit as the ecu has an internall pull up resistor to 5v, this give you basicly e85 to petrol map switching on the fly no reflash needed and cost you $5 for a switch.

Actually it might be possible, i just looked at torque and it has a loggable parameter "evap pressure" if that works then you could monitor that and it would give you a representation of E%. If you findcthe pid for evap pressure you could then make your own custom pid and scale it to read E%.

Thanks Steve, When I'm up and running I'll give it a go and report back including comparing it with the value reported by OFT.
