So there is something satisfying about bringing a car back from the "dead" and being able to do it in the comfort of your own garage. Seems this journey just to build myself a fun track car has become an addiction/hobby. LOL

Project 4 - Arrived on 2/21/2019:
2013 FR-S - Hot Lava - 6AT, 74k, Raceseng Front Camber Plates, Motegi Racing 17"x8" Wheels, Catback exhaust.
Damage: Rear ended pickup truck.
After Inspection needs: Hood, both fenders, bumper cover, front crash beam (got hitch ball), both headlights, radiator, condenser, both front airbags, upper core support structure, both front seatbelts, windshield, front timing cover reseal.

Fuse Box repair...and some sweet camber plates...

Project 4 - Update 1

Front end measured and squared. Both Upper Core Supports and Drivers fender brace replaced & ready for paint.


Dashboard removed for replacement and new airbags.



Both front seatbelts and airbag control module removed and sent to www.MyAirBags.com for repair.

Been slow to update the progress, but much has been done!


Radiator air flow bits installed.


Under-panels installed.


Airbags replaced and dash reassembled.

Body parts are all currently at the body shop getting painted, should get them back Saturday morning and have this back together by Saturday evening or Sunday.

Hot Lava just got back from having the Valve Spring recall completed is ready to hit the road (or track) with new plugs, oil change, brake fluid flush, etc., runs great, drives great and has cold A/C! State inspection paperwork is being filed, hope to have inspection completed by next week.

Project 5: - Arrived 3/5/2019:
2013 FR-S - Whiteout - 6MT, 68k, Valenti-like taillights, TRD exhaust.
Damage: Rear ended something.
Inspection needs: Hood, both fenders, front & rear bumper covers, both headlights, radiator, condenser, upper core support structure, rear crash beam, front timing cover reseal.

No Airbag deployment on this one, started right up and sounds good with the TRD Exhaust!

Project 6: ETA is currently unknown but likely ~3/15
2014 BRZ Limited - DGM - 6MT, 69k
Damage: Rear ended something.
Pre - Inspection needs: Hood, front fenders, bumper cover, both headlights, radiator, condenser, upper core support structure, both front seatbelts, drivers frontal airbag (steering wheel bag), SRS module reset, fuse box cover, + battery terminal cover.

Project 5: - Update 1:

Some early disassembly on Whiteout found a bent rear bumper beam and small dent that'll need to be pulled behind the rear bumper cover. New rear beam is on the way.


Drove her out and got her washed off after pulling most of the damaged parts off to get our parts list together. Started removing the plasti-dip off the wheels...


Debating whether to repair this one of the DGM BRZ next...I'm thinking the white one would make a great T5 car...

Keeping tracking, building race cars and track cars for friends, some will be sold...for a profit? Maybe if we are lucky. The majority is because it's fun to put them back together.
