My god I would... This thing... *pants*

Always did like the look of the evos body but they'll only be taking queues from it. Even if this is how it looked I'd be interested. Smaller? Check. Lighter? Check. IRS? Check. 400+hp? Check.

I'm not seeing a problem here.

See, its not a problem with the car...its a problem calling it Mustang...that IMHO is why the GTO failed. That was a good car with plenty of performance, but it didnt have that, for lack of a better word, "feeling" of GTO

G8 failed for the same reason. No one knew what the fuck a G8 GXP was. Now, if they called it a Bonneville...

Note, that IS the Evos concept. Look at the new Fusion, expect that Aston Martin style on the next gen Fords.

I don't really like the front end, bleh.

Why does the Mustang II/Pinto get so much hate?

Needs smaller wheels and lowered and inch and a half!
The original Mustang SVO, only version even close to that.

I thought the 130R was a nice concept, I hate the body they put on it. It looks like a BMW 1 series and that isn't a complement. I don't trust GM to follow through on it.

I liked the Pinto but just not disguised as a Mustang.

Why can't they just make a more refined coupe, and call it the...wait for it...Fusion Coupe! Could compete with the CTS Coupe. No need to desecrate the Mustang name. I LOVE the look of this EVOS, but make it a separate car. Heck, they can even bring back the Thunderbird name and have performance on level with the corvette (IRS, etc), and finally have a true rival to the Vette, like the Thunderbird was originally intended to do.

Looks like I'm gonna be relegated to the 05-14 model mustangs if I want retro looks while still having decent safety ratings.

It wasn't a bad idea (smaller Mustang, still optional V8 with the Cobra, I think???) and would be a fine idea today, in my opinion.

Problem was everything sucked sooooooo hard in the era that comparing it to the earlier ones was too extreme.

If I recall, wasn't this design made up for a possible 4 cylinder or the next coming of an electric mustang?

Made me shiver...lol. I know the car was a hybrid, and the whole side of the car is one huge gullwing door, but I never heard anything about an electric mustang...might as well just make it 4 doors while you're totally bastardizing the Mustang name.
