Even if it takes 20 pounds though I can't see you damaging the spoiler. It isn't made of fine china or paper mache.
They did increase the shocks pressure, according to the comparative document that leaked out a while ago. Because of the spoiler weight supposedly.

Still one of the things I dislike about the car because the name/artist only stays on the first song played. As songs end and a new one is played, the screen is like frozen on the first name/artist.

I have an LG V10 phone and all the apps work via bluetooth. Caveat is I have to make sure bluetooth is ON BEFORE starting the engine..

Yep. I thought my trunk latch was locked shut the first few times I tried closing the trunk (on my BRZ). The trunk lid would just bounce off it and not shut. Seems to be not as bad recently, like it is slowing working in.

Let me clear up your perceived hype with a visual. There are countless dyno graphs out there that illustrate the dip in the torque curve.

Here are my dyno graphs from both my 2013 FRS (dotted) and 2017 BRZ (solid) when they were stock. If you are not feeling that dip in the torque curve in your car, then I guess you got one of the magical builds that doesn't have it

Because you can't feel it at partial throttle. During normal driving most people won't realize it's there.

Try changing the vocal imaging or whatever they call it to +8.

It helps a lot with the sound.

I don't know, I feel it everyday driving to/from work. Well, I did, the car is tuned now and the dip is gone.

Maybe that is it. Folks that have not driven a tuned car might know any different and the torque dip feels normal, or is not even felt like you said.

Anyways this horse has been bludgeoned enough I'd say...

I've gone through many tunes/stages with my previous BRZ, so I'm aware of what it does/doesn't feel like. I definitely don't feel the dip if I'm not more than 1/4 throttle or so (or something around there, don't have an exact number for you).

You're not making or putting down your full potential torque if you're not at WOT... Which is why you don't feel it if you're never putting down whatever number the bottom of the dip is.

Yes, I thought the audio quality was woeful when i first got it. No bass and way too much treble. I played around with the eq presets but still couldn't make it sound acceptable. The bass preset still didn't solve the treble problem.

I finally did a custom preset with the bass way up and the treble way down, and now it sounds great. Not audiophile quality but I'm very happy with it.

Mind you the head units seem to change from country to country so my Au model is probably different to the US midel.

Audio through usb is much better quality than the horrendous Bluetooth. Changing my head unit to alpine z270 or whatever its called coming in a couple months android auto. Will let you know how much nicer audio sounds with that

I know that when I first got my car, I thought the sound quality was horrible across the board. Like, bad enough that I was gonna at least complain the next time I took it in for service.

But I found a bunch of stuff in the settings that needed to be turned off. Like HD Radio. And the automatic volume control -- an option I actually like -- was way too high. There was a couple other things I turned off, too. I think there was a bass booster I turned on though.

But anyway, yeah, it sounds fine now.

It's like buying a new TV, you need to go into the settings and calibrate it to how you want it.
