So About that Pine Tree State...

Any other Mainer's here?

I've seen quite a few BRZs out and about, but I'm less than confident that they're on this forum.

I am in Maine all the time, I live right on the border. You may see me cruising around.

I did not know that the maine turnpike was 70mph. Quite the pleasant drive from NH to Portland to drop my kid off at MEPS. Except when the heron left the swamp and almost rained gifts onto my new car

LOL... Yehhhh...

I grew up in Scarborough, ME which is basically one giant Salt Marsh. More Great Blue Herons (and great white turds) than you can shake a stick at.

295 being 70mph is nice though, and Maine cops are usually really chill. The number of times I've whipped by State Troopers at 85+ and gotten no reaction is quite satisfying.

I second that! The Maine turnpike is a nice change, I was just up in Portland today....I always let the 86 have some fun on the way up!

btw, what branch is your kid joining up at MEPS?

That is awesome man! Nothing like working for the Navy, been there. He will have a good future whenever he decides to get out with that MOS.
