DECEMBER 17 2015
Me and my brother went down to West Palm Beach to buy an engine and drove it back up to Orlando with my dad's Highlander to avoid shipping fees.

Exciting to see the engine in the garage and in person after looking at pictures online for a while

Yeah it's kinda dirty and old..

Doing a compression test to check out the engine and ended up with 0 compression in all cylinders.. Weird but I thought it could've been the cheap Harbor Freight compression tester and ignored it.

Idk why I started to disconnect the chassis harness but these are the heater lines that had to be cut to fit the engine in the way I wanted to.

Full Blown Motorsports FRS return system fuel line.. Complete waste of money working with the stock fuel system and Full Blown's kit.

MARCH 17 2016

Now the engine is mounted on with engine and transmission mounts.

For the radiator hoses, I used the original fa20 hose for the lower radiator and connected it to the original 3SGE lower radiator hose.
The upper radiator hose is aftermarket from the engine then to oem frs upper radiator hose. Cheap and it works.

Here it is before the body panels got put back on.

I think everyone knows that this is the motor it should have come with from factory.

Are you planning on converting to itb's?

Have you ever driven a beams? You can look at numbers all you want but driving it is a much better comparison. At the end of the day I would prefer an in line 4 rather than a flat 4. The ability to run long ITB's for good gains really appeals to me and I feel this chassis would benefit from a 3s type motor

Yes, I have no argument on the beams motor, u just said this is what the car should of came with!!! And it did, lol that's my point same power levels na. Maybe beams is stronger but fa20 is better balance for the car. Both with identical power outputs.
