A Subaru Legacy pulls up next to me. Young kid asks how much power my car has. I say not much. Thinking maybe he was interested in cars I then say 200, to which he replies my Genesis has over 350. I gave him a thumbs up and he then asked if it was at least a manual. I said no, not in Chicago. He replies I drive in Chicago all the time. I slowly pull forward in bumper to bumper traffic...

I've had two bicyclists recently comment on my car. One was a bike messenger who was locking up on a tree while i was parked with the windows down. Complimented my car and asked me what it was, how much it was. He was surprised when I said 28k new.
Second one was some random guy biking down the street while I was parked, turned around and yelled "sick subie man" lol. I love this car

Just had one when I was backing into my garage, which basically acts as an echo chamber for my exhaust since it's narrow and long. A kid was walking by on the sidewalk and I gave it a few revs for fun, got a nice pop out of the exhaust, and he gave me a thumbs up and head nod. That's why we do it, folks.

Was in SoCal and some guy shouted "Nice car!" from the passenger side window.
Week later a lady asked me what year my car was and told me it was a gorgeous car. I agreed =D |

The last couple days I've passed this group of kids waiting for a bus each morning on the way into work. Both days, one has pointed as I approach, then they all turn as a group watching me go by with big smiles on their faces.

Pulled up to the first window at the drive-through at McDonalds. The girl was busy, so after a moment the guy at window #2 looked to see what's up. He ducked his head back in, then popped back out again to look at my car.
After I got my fries, he gave me a "Nice ride, bro."

parked my car..had a few sips..then as i was getting out of my car to head to the office building a couple of guys were walking through the parking lot and one said "nice ride"
i was like 'ppreciate it man (but in the back of my mind i'm thinking it's nothing special..just a scion that looks like something exotic) |

I was getting my inspection done and this old man was eyeballing my car. He came up to me and asked how much power it made because he saw my Cosworth badge. He was quite the fan.
Then the other day I was getting something from Culver's and the little high school girl taking my money got all excited and said "Nice car!" She couldn't stop looking. Haha

Caught my sweet ride, bro encounter on dashcam today.
I was just driving along and I see this Honda Accord coupe booking it in the right lane. The Accord honks at me and I look over and it's this grandma with a dog in her lap. She asks, "What kind of car is that?" I tell her it's a BRZ (I'm debadged btw). She's a little confused but compliments my car. Made my day!
