Hmm, didn't know they changed it, either way they did us the 1320 for years in that application.

I know it varies from shop to shop, but is there a ballpark number on how much it would cost to install this kit?

Hard to tell, specially since the install instructions have not been published yet, but based on the parts shown on their pics, I would guesstimate about a 6-8 hr job with a competent shop. Factor in your shop's rates, and you got you price

So the 1556 doesn't come with any Ecutek license, cable or tune correct?

So $4550 for the kit + $1000 for a tune inc license?

does this kit need any other addenda ?

For example with the sprintex you need to really purchase the intercooler kit + better MAP sensor + the IAT sensor mod / relocation kit

Is there a way to properly monitor post intercooler temps on this kit?

The 1556 should come with everything you need.

the 15560 is the tuner kit that wouldn't have the ecutek or tune, although from what I understand the CARB tune will still be downloadable from their website.

1556 comes with everything needed to get the vehicle running. The kit includes a 2 bar Bosch TMAP sensor. Same sensor used on the current C7 z06 Corvette. This sensor is used to monitor both boost and post charge temps. So you do not need 2 separate sensors like other kits.

There is an included plug and play harness that relocates the IAT signal from the MAF to the the TMAP sensor. Not cutting, splicing, or soldering needed.
Note: the harness and sensor are also included in the 15560

Ordered!

Been waiting to pull the trigger on a supercharger for the last 6 Months. Almost pulled the trigger on the Cossie, but hesitated due to CARB. At one time I wouldn't have cared, but I guess I am getting more responsible as I age. The output is more than my needs, the CARB cert, and the amazing price for performance. Definitely hitting on all cyclinders. I finally get to join the long list of Counter Space Garage customers. Thanks Mike!

1556 is with the tuner; 15560 is without.

MSRPs are $5399.87 for 1556, and $4649.87 for 15560.

Hey Mike, do we know if any oil coolers are compatible with the Edelbrock heat exchanger setup in the front bumper?

There's been mention that their test car had a Perrin oil cooler, which makes sense since it mounts up on the lower plastic piece and most likely clears the heat exchanger. I'd be interested to hear if other top mounted oil coolers would work. Edelbrock also has a sister company Russell performance that specializes on lines, AN fittings, etc. so I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with their own oil cooler kit.
