CSG Mike is right (like normal). The SL stands for Super lap, and RT for Rigid Tune. I've had a chance to weigh both off a lot and the SL and RT's are the exact same weight. the RT is 6% (roughly) more rigid than the SL while maintaining the same weight:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQTnvBYd0ZQ"]RAYS Engineering VOLK TE37RT (Rigid Tune) Burning Red (5x114 18x9.5) Review/Weight - YouTube[/ame]

Weighing both the TE37SL and the TE37RT in 18x9.5 we got to 18lb's even for both wheels.

I thought the TWS T66-F was more in VOLK pricing territory, so probably double the price of a TC105n?

Agreed with the weight though. The TWS in that size is the same weight. 1 inch bigger in diameter and width, and the same weight from what I've heard.

I really do want to have one of these wheels pass through to check out, but I haven't had anyone try to put in an order yet!

Maybe it's time you hit the group buy thread, or find a redeye to 86fest in... 8 hours

They do price similarly to Volks though, but there are rare deals to be had on Volks too if the timing is right.

howd you like the 225/50 on a 7" wheel? i was tempted but went with the 205/55 rs-3 just to be sure.

@CSG Mike I understand what the SL and the RT stand for hahahah. I was just under the impression that the weight was the same or less in the RT's case... I think as far as 17" goes the Weds take first, followed by RPF1s, SLs, and then the TE37RTs. I thought the SLs in the OP were 18". I'll explain why down here:

@CrazyWookiee I didn't understand your video at first. It's called 17" Shoot Out but then you said the SL was 18x9.5 at one point. I brainfucked myself lol.

What weight did you get for the 17x9.5+40 RTs? When I checked it was 17.xx lbs.

@ 1:22 You noted that the SL was 18x9.5. Looks like a 17" wheel though if you compared the heights to the boxes behind the scale.

Sounds good! I know some rare deals from VOLKS, but for TWS I thought it was always a special item. I'll keep my eyes open on that group buy!

Oops, you're right. its 17x9.5. It was a 17" shoot out video! I'll correct it.

It was ok, sidewalls were a bit bulged.

if you run that rim size again, the 205/55r16 are great on there.

Would've loved to run a 17, but hate being more limited on tire sizing. I ended up with 18x10 pigs.

Those ZE40 are pigs! Pretty sick. I haven't had a set pass through the shop yet. I had some TE37 Ultra's I was going to do, but we had to get them mounted and balanced immediately so I couldn't get a video in. Still hoping someone orders the ZE40 so I can see them!
