Personally I am nearly dead set on going SC. The only turbo I've even got on my radar is the AVO one due to both price and what appears to be a pretty quick spool.
My reasons for wanting to go SC are the below in order: -Desire to add a chunk of power while retaining near N/A throttle response to preserve the character of the car. -Less complex system = less to go wrong. I drive a LOT. -Reduce/eliminate heat-related concerns under the hood. -To explore an option that I haven't before. -To just be different. Still really hoping for some positive things out of Innovate if they ever come back to life and now anxious to see more from Jackson Racing. The Vortech kit is solid....but I am hoping for a little more torque.

Kudos to you for that. And your dyno didn't look like it belonged in an amusement park.
What kind of figures are you getting with the new compressor? Have you thought about just using a V3 sci and seeing how it plays? Oh, and HMCS Preserver was able to reach her rated top speed ONCE and once only in the last 30 years. Every other time she has run into a full power parameter before she actually made it. The boiler operator & instrumentation technician that was able to tune and manipulate the boilers to get sufficient steam flow, pressure, and temperate without melting the boilers, THIS GUY. You can keep your silly laptop and 800 what ever horsepower. I'll stick with my 20,000 horsepower. (I'm actually really jealous and would love to work with cars for a living, but alas that's not my lot in life.) |

Off topic i know. But its the negativity of people who have nothing to do with a product that are a downer on the aftermarket community. Put yourself in a businessmans shoes, you obv. are not going to please everyone but when few people "act" like they are interested and you put time and effort to sell a product and explain it fully, then have the person or people, whom you considered a buyer, back out. You have wasted alot of time and effort for nothing. |

no one wins in this situation, the company receives a negative view from this idiots comments, the guy looks like a tool and then the person that says something back to the guy "me"... is "that guy" that decided to respond. i am pretty mad not gonna lie... this guy has absolutely no idea how much r/d that vortech has put into this kit alone... it is also their transition into the import scene in full force and they have a group of diehard enthusiasts that work there really pushing for this. it is an honor to be a part of their marketing plan and absolutely love my kit, cant wait for the 9psi set up!!! but when people come in and say stupid crap like it is a "defective" product... it really rustles my jimmies. oh no... it didnt hit the 300hp on 91 pump gas... they tuned it a certain way so that it can pass cali emmisions and become CARB approved... what other FI kit out on the market can do that....? exactly... NONE. they will have a 9psi VORTECH tune... visconti hit the advertised claim with their old kit, perrin is tearing shit up too with theirs and i believe are hovering around 13-14psi now with a wastegated kit... hmmmmmm.
