Hello fellow FT86-ers. I'm a current Mazdaspeed 3 owner who has made a few FRS/BRZ friends in my couple month stay here. I'm planning a drive to the Tail of the Dragon (US 19) on the border of Tennessee/North Carolina for those of you unfamiliar with it. The details are below, I already have a couple FT86ers attending, so I thought I'd make the rest of you aware, we'd love to have you! Also, this isn't a full weekend, this is just one very full day of driving: roll out in the morning, drive for several hours, photos if you want, then head back. You guys are more than welcome to crash at hotels if you so choose, plenty of options around there, and invite whomever you feel like.

Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort
17548 Tapoco Road
Tapoco, NC 28771

Meet up place and time: the Wal Mart off Exit 11 on 400, at 8:30 AM. Rollout time is to be no later than 8:45 at the absolute latest. Below is the address:

5200 Windward Parkway
Alpharetta, GA 30004

There is a McDonald's and Chick-fil-a if you need grub, a BP for gasoline, and a Wally World for everything else. Here is a link to the route we will be taking for those of us meeting off exit 11. It's the same route I've used before so we get to crush on some Blue Ridge Mountains as a warm up.

This is the 4th such drive I've planned for MazdaSpeedForums.org, and look forward to planning more on this forum in the future.

Me too! Dang man, that sucks though. There's always the Spring... Any word on AutoX? Only thing I've heard of so far is at Turner Stadium...

Checking football, marching band and work schedules, but I'll be in if I can! Should have an update by the end of the week. The link to the route is missing, or am I just not seeing it?

If I'm in town I will try to do it... (FINGERS CROSSED I"M IN TOWN) Might see if a friend wants to take his harley or his porsche cayman up... if thats ok with the rest of you. I'll keep you guys posted.
