Hi Hanabie! I'm also from Philips Ranch LOL.

Check out Scion's site for the rebate:
http://www.scion.com/promotions/collegerebate/

If your still looking for a BRZ/FR-S I can recommend a straight up dealer for you (either Subaru or Scion) who only charges MSRP in So Cal.

Good luck!

Yes I qualified for the rebate If they ask, just tell them to look at the printed FR-S brochure

I can also confirm that Toyota of Escondido are fair and sell at MSRP. Just had a member of my family pick up his FRS a few days ago.

which subaru or scion will you recommend?
Thanks! When I get my ride, maybe we can hang out

Question: How much are you paying for your insurance? I have a clean record for the past 6 years.

Yeah FR-S/BRZ Philips Ranch chapter unite LOL! I'm down for a local meet up! :happy0180:

I'll message you the two dealers I went to.

As for insurance, many factors to consider. I'm paying $91/month Geico.

If your financing, I suggest you also shop around early for better rates thru banks or credit unions. Altho, if your getting the college rebate then you have no choice but to go thru Scion/Toyota in-house financing. Do your math and see where you can save the most.

Congrats! I gave my original order to another forum member here and he already got the car last week. You'll be getting a new allocation from Ontario. They are decent dealership and seems to be getting quite a number of FR-S. I recommend calling Pamela for a hassle-free transaction.

To all dear FRS owner or fans, I really need your help to get a manual FRS.
I am just moved from Asia to Lake Forest, United States for one week, and have been following reading the fourm for past years.
I went to Power Scion Irvine to check the car. The dealer is forcing people to buy with leather or upgraded wheels which cost 3K more.

I have been sending mails to 7 dealers close by my area, (Penske Scion Of Rancho Santa Margarita, Tustin Scion, Capistrano Scion, South Coast Scion, Scion Of Orange, Scion Of Huntington Beach, Elmore Scion), and didn't get good reply.

I am looking for a white, but RAVEN and ASPHALT might be my second choice since i was not able to see the car in person. I only have the chance to see hot lava and argento.

I would really appreciate if any of you can share any information.

BTW, I went to DMV to get a written test and ends up i did the road test in the same day due to their mistake. Anyways, i got CA driver's license and dying to get FRS now.

Congrats on getting your license Eric! As you may have read thru the posts here, there are a couple of decent Scion dealerships here in So Cal. You can definitely get the color and transmission you want for MSRP, just look and inquire further. So far, places like Longo and Ontario seem to be a good bet.

Good luck!

I just called Pamela from Scion Ontario as you suggested in previous post. Pamela told me they have 2 Asphalt in stock. I will try to get down there and check. The only problem is Ontario is too far from me. But i will find my way to there.

Thanks.
