A great question. The lower air is actually "cooler" than the air in the engine compartment, which is where the OEM and this intake pull the air from. Take a look at the Perrin intake and you'll see that it is located outside the engine compartment behind the front bumper; the configuration looks quite different.

Now, how much difference does this make? I guess you could dyno them back to back...not sure there's data to conclusively say one is the much better than the other.

Oh right, of course. Forgot the air is more inside the engine compartment at first.

Thanks for the explanation!

Got my Rear Brakes on Finally... HUGE THANKS to Ken at KNS Brakes.. Once I Got it all sorted.. They Went on without issue.. ...

Also taped up the front end for my bug infested Drive. Got my trailer ready to go also

OEM Rear 2pot..Getting some Refurbishment.

Installation was a snap with KNS Brakes Adapter Bracket.. Make sure if you get this to read the installation guide on Kens Website. http://www.knsbrakes.com

Looks and Performs AWESOME.. Definitely a HUGE upgrade over the Stockers.. plus I lost some rotational weight..

Installed dem LED lights. No pics though. It was relatively simple, even the new flasher module wasnt that bad to change.

I got that Rear fog light wired up. As it is now, its only activated by the running lights. I have the wiring and another LED ready to go when I want to hook it up to the brake lights too.

Finally got an alignment since putting springs on. Actually wasn't THAT far out of spec, but camber was something like -1.x on the left and -0.5 on the right. Now it's -1.1 and -1.2. Rear is -2.2 on each side since I don't have adj. LCAs or anything.

My new Flossy!

I used 4 #6 fender washers to get it to line up right.

You can choose from their basic designs, or go custom like I did. You can either pick the silver brushed aluminum plaque or go for a black anodized one like I did and have it engraved however you want.

Check out this thread for some great ideas too!
