Timing cover leak
I got a leak coming from my timing cover in the driver's side I'm out of warranty
Baisically what I want to know if anybody on here has resealed it themselves, I'm a tech so it's not a problem just want to know if anyone here has the list of the parts I would need to do the job I have extended warranty but if the cost of parts is less then my deductible I'd rather do it myself I'm going turbo next week so I wanna get this took care of before |

I'm having the same issue and following this to see what's said, I can't find much as far as DIY, there was a TSB floating around on one of the threads for some o rings and had some recommended things to do if you do pull it off but I haven't been able to find it again yet.

I got one of my passenger side got towards the top there's not much that you could do about it. Other than pulling the motor and resealing it. There's a liquid gasket that's applied, not a drop-in gasket unfortunately. I don't really lose much oil don't have to worry about it because my 3K oil changes. I'll deal with it when I add my rods and pistons personally.
I wish I never got divorced because my new intake manifold, rods and pistons, head studs & valve springs would be installed already. I got to wait for a new girl to move in to help me with bills before I pull the motor. But I'm already working on that.... these damn rods and Pistons have been staring at me for a year now it's really pissing me off...
