If you're genuinely puzzled, it's a stand to hold the bike upright and allow wheel off maintenance.

When I was 16 I went on a 18hr (one way) road trip to Baltimore to pick up this beautiful M900. Had it for 8 years now and couldnt be happier

If you have enough dedicated garage space. My coworker had one and ended up selling it. That or you go all out and cut out the floor in your garage and mount it flush with the ground, but then it is just a bit too low.

2005 Yamaha R6. Currently sitting on stands, with broken charging system. Too cold in the garage to troubleshoot. Likely suspects rectifier and stator.

This is just my opinion but I feel that the R6 looked a bit ugly after the 2006 update. I think Yamaha are back on-track now though. I love the early FZ8. Was at RIDE in Woodinville a few years ago and they were blowing the previous years models out. I was really tempted at $6500. Still had my '03 SV1000S at that time. I put 30k miles on that bike.

I love the way 2017+ R6 looks. I even asked my wife (then fiance) if we could put a new R6 on our wedding registry!

This is reminding me that I have to get down to business with fixing up the ratted out CBR125 in the shed at my parents lake house. It would be an absolutely ideal around town runabout/commute bike.

The list is (in order of descending importance):
Tires
Signals
Overhaul the wiring, since the PO did some weird shit with it
Paint job

I have the tires and the signals sitting in the shed as well. Just need to find the time and motivation to deal with it.

I was going to try and acquire my friend's Ducati Monster, but an Audi pulled out in front of him. Apparently he's passing the time in the hospital by perusing new bikes to buy next year. So back to the drawing board...

Plopping these in here, 'cause the old thread seems to have petered out.

83 CB650 Nighthawk I bought new.

I sold it in '05 shortly after getting a used '98 BMW K1200RS

Then I picked up an '03 SV650 as well because I missed having a smaller bike.
