almost finished packing for moving next week. I hate moving..... a lot. but we'll be finished with the whole HOA nonsense which is nice and we'll have a yard for the dogs to poop in. if the HOA at her place was like the HOA at my place we'd probably never had consider moving in the first place. but they keep wanting to raise dues while we have no amenities besides a POS gate and garbage. pretty soon no one will be able to sell ever because our dues will be so high compared to everyone around us. oh well not our problem anymore.

moving, sick dog(but getting better), school and full time work along with a still very intense training schedule has me running around nonstop. I'm afraid when things finally slow down I'll be one of those people that can't relax.

HOAs are the worst! It's just human nature to get way too righteous with other people's money. And then there's the inner politics... nope nope nope. I feel like whole point of owning property is to be able to make your own decisions about it. Otherwise just rent so you can walk away when they get stupid.

indeed. I think our problem was a neighborhood with to many retired people with nothing else to do. really it was just the one guy who happened to be the HOA President.

Offered a young bright employee the opportunity to go to school, fully paid for by the company, plus we would work with his schedule to make sure he could still get his hours. He turned it down due to the time commitment

3 Year old. He is married, him and his wife own their place. He's only 25. We have another guy about the same age that is in a different two year program. He is a single dad of two kids. So I don't see what this guys excuse is except I think in his mind it is too much of a time commitment for his return.

He could work whatever schedule he wanted that he was comfortable. He would essentially get a key to the building. He could even tell us to kick rocks at the end and leave. The knowledge he would gain in the two years would still be worth it too us.

wow, what kind of company is this?

I'm going back to school right now but I'm not telling my company. They offer a "scholarship" of sorta to pay for school but the application said something to the effect of how this would benefit me in this industry. the thing is the whole point to me going back to school is to get out of this industry.

We are small and employee owned. Ideally, we would like to retain him. But we have to be realistic about such things and putting stipulations on putting him through school would deter people from trying. I went to meet the head of the program his was looking into(he choose it, electronics) and what he would learn in the first terms would be enough I could start sticking him on projects as his job. I've paid far more to 3rd party companies for R&D then what tuition at a vocational/community college cost.

Welp, there is an old Puyallup Indian saying - don't judge a brave until you've walked the same path in his moccasins - especially if it leads to the Chief's daughters wigwam -

OK, I'm exhausted -

Two one way trips to two different schools, a round trip to another school (for the 3 year old). In between, a trip to Costco, for paper products. Fixed lunch for the mrs and the 3 year old.

Now, I have exactly 1 hour and 35 minutes for a nap, before I start the afternoon runs.

ZZZZZZZZZZ
