Back to my parasitic power drain on my Suburban....

Went out to do some more work on it after it has sat for a week from last testing, was going to try the alternator thing, expecting to have to charge the battery because I hadn't taken the time to disconnect it.

Battery is at full charge, and everything seems to be fine. Before, it hadn't lasted 3 days on a full charge.

I was never taught the resister band color codes. Just recently I had to look it up to figure out what was in our junk drawer at work.

and that's why i call it gremlin hunting.

sometimes, you just have to do enough work to scare away the gremlins from time to time.

i've been taught on 4 specific occasions. my dad taught me once i had an interest, high school tried teaching me when i didn't care, a trade school tried teaching me while i read books, and another trade school tried teaching me while i was trying to eat my dinner.

you went to one of them fancy colledges and all, i would expect them to cover it!

i had to teach myself SMD resistor decoding though.

Promote the least competent to get them out of the way. That's how it used to work

Management like to keep competent workers in their positions as promoting or moving them jeopardizes the work in hand.

Management like parasites to sit above the competent workers as parasites are good at selling other peoples work...
