Had my 4th autocross of the season yesterday. Took P1 in DS! Then on the way to work this morning a rock hit my windshield right above the vin and now I’ve got a big ol crack. It’s about 10” long at the moment.

I normally wait until Thanksgiving weekend to pt the snowies on, but with flurries forecasted today, and temps in the 30's next week, I thought I'd better take the Falkens off a bit early.

2000 Impreza RS 6 spokes 16x7 +53, Sumitomo Ice Edge 205/60

This thing looks like a monster truck now and I love it!

So I tried something new last weekend.

Video of my best run:

Rallycross was SO MUCH FUN. However I think I'll be back with something I care just a bit less about. I had a little mishap where I cracked my bumper and ripped out my fender liner. Everything fip tied back up without issue, and I'm less worried about it than I thoguht I'd be. I guess I just consider them battle wounds instead

So this year has obviously not gone to plan. I wanted to get out to an actual track day other than just autocross events, but the good 'ol corony had other plans. I can't complain too much though as my wife and I got married just before everything hit the fan and took advantage of the low interest rates and bought a house! I've decided to take the winter and properly prep the car for a track day, including an oil cooler and redoing the brakes. I did score a set of 2018 OEM springs and struts with 5k on them for a great deal so I'll plan on throwing those on as well.

FIRST TRACK DAY!

I got to take the BRZ to NCM Motorsports Park with Gridlife over the weekend. I had so much fun and learned a lot! Definitely more to come!

Had a blast at Gridlife Mid-Ohio over the weekend in HPDE. Here are a couple laps. They turned out to be within .001s of each other. Fastest "unofficial" time of the weekend was a 1:50.6.

Welp.

Prudence found her new owner yesterday. This forum has been very helpful learning about this car and I'd like to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge in a public place for all to benefit. Who knows, I might be back someday!

Thanks again!

Ben
