Hello all,

I'm Bryan, most of you know me as Blue. But for those of you who don't know me, here is a little about myself...

Everyone calls me Blue because it's a combination of my first and last name. I moved to San Jose in August '14 to pursue a career in the parks as a Ranger. I'm sure you're thinking, have I heard "You're my boy, Blue!" or "It's Morphin' Time!" before? Yes I definitely have, several times! haha Being a Ranger I have the opportunity to drive numerous backroads between parks (Highway 9, Skyline, Metcalf, Black, Mines, etc.) which are all fun but not in a truck with tons of gear and equipment. Those roads peaked my interest in buying a car that would add excitement and thrill to them outside of work, so in January '16 I decided to bought my FR-S.

Since Southbay meets were on a hiatus when I first got my car, the first meet I went to was SF/Pen where I met @Pish. He happily welcomed me to the NorCal86 community and by the end of the meet added me to the Southbay groupchat. In Southbay, I met @Corona1994, @86FRESH, @doggieboy09, @HachiRo, @_Se7en_, to name a few. Ever since then, I have been active in Southbay and the rest of 86 community. Before @doggieboy09 left for schooling in SoCal, he added me as an admin to the Norcal86 Facebook group page and said I would be a great asset to the NorCal86 admin team in his absence. With that, I was approved by @finch1750, @Pish, and the rest of the board to reboot the Southbay meets again! I have dedicated and devoted my time to the meets and have even arrived in a Ranger truck just to say hi.

Over the last year in the FR-S/BRZ/86 NorCal community, I have:
- June '16: coordinated and led the Southbay caravan to Summer Kickoff
- June '16-present: co-coordinate with @Corona1994 in starting up the Southbay bi-weekly Wednesday meets again !
- August '16: attended 86Day at Mann Enginneering
- October '16: coordinated and led the Southbay caravan to End of Summer Celebration
- February '17: coordinated and led the Southbay caravan to a surprise birthday drive (organized by @Cjymiller)
- attended 8 SF/Pen bi-weekly Tuesday meets
- attended 5 Eastbay weekly Thursday meets
- attended 4 Dublin monthly Fridays meets
- attended ALL Southbay bi-weekly Wednesday meets
- numerous amounts of drive spontaneously planned or not

Being new to San Jose I only had a handful of friends, so finding friends in the 86 community has been great! Everyone is friendly and welcoming, all willing to help each other learn about the car, how it handles, how to install parts, the best and not the best parts, etc. A year later my knowledge of this car is still continuing to grow.

If elected as a board member, I will represent and promote NorCal86 in a positive manner and help coordinate and run all of our annual meets/events to the best of my ability. I plan to be more active on the forums. Knowing only 8,600 86's will be produced in 2017 (unknown numbers for BRZ at the moment) this makes our community very special and small. I have brainstormed some awesome ideas to spark interest in fellow FR-S/BRZ/86 drivers to come out and meet us at our bi-weekly Wednesday meets or the other region meets. I look forward to meeting and driving with all of you at the events and meets to come!

Good luck to all the board member nominees, you all are a great bunch!

Thanks,
PRKRNGR

Salutations everyone!

My name is Josh aka Pish, and if you do not know me by now I personally would like to apologize; I try to meet as many members as I can be it at a meet, or randomly stopping by the local boba shop.

I am a Southbay native currently living in Daly City attending school at SF State where I am a marketing major. My lifetime passion ever since I was a small lad is to open up my own boba spot. It was not until a few years ago did I realize that a boba shop could be prosperous due to the special area we live in. With current trends arising, the main focus of my shop will be to serve quality tea and provide a small area for eSports (fighting, shooting, racing, party games). I hope to open up Pish Posh Tea House: eSports Lounge by 2018 so we can start having meets in front of my place!

Even though our group is primary structured off our enthusiasm of automobiles, we are much more than just individuals who drive cars for fun. We are a community of people bonded by the passions we share. Being involved with this group for three years now, I have served on the Norcal board for two. I am a big believer of putting in the effort to make what we have something special.

At the end of the day, my actions and efforts will only be acknowledged by the people who has seen me put the labor into the grand scheme of things. Regardless if I am reelected or not, I would like everyone to know that you all play a part in why this community is outstanding. I am confident that we will continue to move forward in the days to come. I hope that I have represented the 86 community in a positive way these past years in your eyes.

I wish the best of luck to everyone running, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Much Appreciated,
Josh aka Pish

Garage
Hello everyone,

My name is Trevor aka MisterSheep and for those who haven't met me yet, I reside in the east bay but that doesn't mean I'm an east bay only native. Over the past couple of years I have been traveling in my 86 all around the bay to meet and talk with all the different 86 owners out there. I have attended multiple SF/Peninsula and south bay meets, as well as the East bay meets I coordinate weekly.

Back in June of 2015 was when I was first exposed to the Norcal86 community when I attended the annual Summer Kickoff meet. I was amazed by all the people who came and showed their passion for the ft86 platform. After walking around and conversing with some owners throughout that day was when I came to the conclusion that I have to have an 86 of my own. Not even a month later, in July of 2015, was when I finally purchased my Fr-s.

Ever since I bought my Fr-s I have been doing whatever I could to help out the Norcal86 community. The first being that I started leading the East Bay weekly meets. After scheduling many east bay meets as well as attending multiple other meets around the bay was when I was first nominated for norcal86 board in 2016.

This is where my interest and involvement blossomed for the community. Over the past year I attended and help coordinated some of the biggest events Norcal86 has to offer, such as; Summer kickoff bbq & car show, 86 day dyno day at Mann Engineering, 86drive's end of summer meetup at The Junction, and Norcal86's annual toy drive. I participated in many drives put on by @PMok and 86drive, as well as attended and participated in 86cup events. I've also led the caravans bright and early in the mornings for Blackhawk's Cars and Coffee to help represent the Norcal86 community.

Going back to this time last year, my main goal as a board member was to keep this community as friendly and as welcoming as it was for me back in 2015. My goal for 2017 is the same as last year's because this community is the greatest one I have ever been a part of. My favorite part of it all is that I have met many great people that I can personally call my friends, and it's crazy to think that I wouldn't have met any of them if I would have bought a different car.

And on that note, thank you for your consideration for another great year on Norcal86 board.

This past year went by really fast! Anyway, my name is Scott AKA Pwolf. I've been a member of this community since 2013 and was elected to the board last year. I am located in Sacramento but you'll see me at bay area meets and drives.

I've said this a lot but this community has always been amazing and, since day one, I've wanted to give back. You'll see me at drives and meets, helping out at the summer BBQ's setting up or cooking burgers, or on the side of the track with my camera in hand trying to capture your best moments. Regardless if I am re-elected, I will still try and give back where I can.

I'd like to add that the current board members are fantastic. The two new faces on the ballot: @86FRESH and @PRKR8NGR have shown enthusiasm and willingness to make this community better as well. I think we have a good group of candidates and no matter the outcome, I think 2017 is going to be another good year for Norcal86.

Greetings to all!

For those who have not met me My name is Tricia “86FRESH” from the South Bay Area and I drive an asphalt 2014 scion FR-S. Ever since I purchased this car 3 years ago, off the show room floor, I was truly madly deeply in love! Great handling, just enough power, and everything I can ask for aesthetically. Living at the base of the Evergreen Valley Foothills I have found out how great and exciting this car can be. I was introduced into the 86 community back in 2014. After many countless drives through all the great and well known NorCal Mtn. roads, solo or togue, I have ventured to progress and attended auto-x events. Meeting so many awesome people and making new friends along the way and providing a heavy emphasis on mentoring the up and coming car enthusiast generations, has become a deep passion of mine for years to come! I even ventured all the way to Southern California and Seattle. During one of my business trips when I was up in Seattle I was going to catch some dinner that evening and I randomly ran into an 86 meet. I met amazing people such as Bob Watanabe from Drift office who made me feel right at home. This exact feeling is what I want to bring home to the Norcal community, harness it, and make it flourish!

Some traits that would make me a great representative of the NorCal86 community are

-I have great organization skills that will pan out greatly upon making events and schedules.
-Have been readily active in the community for 3 years strong and networked with hundreds of people, younger and older.
-I am a trustworthy mentor with loads of information for the upcoming car enthusiasts’ generations.
-I have clear understanding of the 86 platforms, where it came from, what it has been integrated with, and furthermore its unique and outstanding engineered capabilities.
-I avidly love and respect cars; It is my passion and hobby!
-Love to host dinners, garage time for help, car washes, photo shoots, caravans, spontaneous drives, or just a hang out with some BOBA!

As far as the running for the election I wish everybody the best of luck and GODSPEED!

With such a close race I wish to remind everyone that in the event of a tie for the final place(s) there will be a single day run off between those candidates only for the final spot(s)

Congratulations to the election winners! I look forward to working with you all this coming year. And thank you to Mr. President @finch1750 for holding the elections. Also congrats on another year of undisputed incumbency.

@Pwolf it has been a pleasure to work with you this past year on the Board and thank you for your efforts. We spent a little time at Laguna Seca this weekend talking about it and I'm sure we will continue to see you at events big and small.

@PRKR8NGR thank you for everything you've done so far and hope you continue to remain a positive role model for the community. A lot of what we do relies on not just the Board but many helpful individuals like you to help us with our local meets, our larger annual events, and all the input and ideas that make our community a great one.

Last but not least, thank you to everyone who voted for me and supported me over the years. It means a lot to me!
