based in LA, drive everywhere, in snow, and rain too. Noticed also the oem tires are pretty rough on some roads. 16" wheels might get some cushion

I promised myself I would try the Bridgestone S-04 PP when my current set of stockers wears out. No more Primacys for me. Gonna miss them. They're fun.

Yes, if you're looking to smooth out the bumps, I hear 16s are the hot ticket. The Primacys are strictly summers. Having always driven on cheap all-seasons prior to this car, I was really surprised in how badly they toboggan in even the slightest bit of snow.

Ooo, those white Sparcos look nice!

IMHO stock wheels are sadly underrated. I don't understand why the kids are all in such a hurry to dump them but fuck it. I'm buying.
These are the wheels that were on my car in the show room (not the same as but the actual ones). I didn't want them so asked for stock to go back on. They would have been horrible for my long distance drives, looked terrible on the lava and they wanted 3 grand.

All seasons wouldn't perform well on a RWD car in the snow. Okay for wet snow but certainly not accumulated snow even by a minute amount.

I'm on Pilot Sport A/S3 which is really bias towards summer use but if you really need all seasons for winter then I would think ExtremeContact DWS would be a much better choice.

I will do the same. Also considering to buy a set of crappy tires in terms of traction like oem for skid

Any opinions on having a "foamectomy" done on the driver seat as a practical alternative to a racing seat in a DD?

I have awful blisters from walking around on Sunday. Stupid dress shoes that I've never worn before because of a stupid dress code that wasn't enforced at the bar

Starts by having a conversation with themselves, now on topic for forum in off topic...

All seasons suck all the time rather than one season. Primacies are already a 3 season summer tire well suited to gas mileage and reasonable traction given the rest.

If you must have just one tire and truly see snow regularly, Nokian WRG-3. It's a different kind of compromise, but is surprisingly responsive in hotter weather. 16 will be a little more comfy at some softness added in response. No free lunch. Best off by far with su!Mmers when you can and a winter targeted tire for snow (where I still recommend the WRG-3 unless you see deep snow regularly)

Back off topic guys!

6 breweries within 5 blocks and I've been to one of them... But a couple of the best arrays on tap just as close. It's weird here.

First rule of Car Club, no matter what stock wheels come on your car you have to declare you do not like them and replace them immediately with wheels that cost at least 10% of the price of the car for a set.
