Sure, there are. Most are not, though.

In my experience, this is what most of it looks like.

I like the charming old beetles!
But just trying to accelerate on the on-ramp to merge with modern German traffic in one would be terrifying.

Yep, I agree ..... most of the autobahn system is quite boring.

As far as "getting up to speed" with a VW bug, I recall the time when my in-laws visited us in Germany the 4 of us took a road trip to Venice, Italy, from Mannheim, Germany.

Now, with that weight, mounting the autobahn was scary ...... and climbing the Alps was even more "fun".

Sure, you can occasionally drive fast. But the novelty of that soon wears off and you're left with hours on hours of congested traffic on boring roads through depressing landscapes.

Don't envy the poor bastards who see this on their daily commute.
Yes it is very much like driving on a highway anyplace else with the opportunity to go really fast every once in a while.

Statue of you, wanted some CDM (Canadian Domestic Market) swag!

Nah, video game. The North American version is being sold on two sites, one of them is a Canadian site other being Amazon. Getting some extra goodies by ordering from Canada and 7 dollars cheaper!

Damnit. Those statues are not supposed to be available yet. You get the 12 or 24 foot one? You think the crown is too much?
