I forgot to mention the Twins in the other classes (it's been a while since we've had any other 86's show up to ER).

Vaderr (Chase) was the only car in CSP and Brian's novice victory was extra impressive since he was just a little over a second back in pax and about 2s in raw time back from the rest of the twins in STX (which would have won him DS).

Windy, chilly, and some light rain at the TMS bus lot for the NTAXS autox today. Didn't see any of the STX guys, but 3 twins competed. Maher in #20 took 19th in class 1 with a 61.759, Geran in #25 took 2nd in class 1R with a 61.717, and I took 14th in class 1 with a 59.801. Hope I got those other 2 guys right, but correct me if I'm wrong, or if I missed any other 86's today. Looking forward to the SCCA event next weekend and some warmer weather!

We were at the tire rack street survival school, teaching teens how to keep from crashing. We'll be at the SCCA autocross next weekend.

Indeed we were. I got to drive a new beetle and a new Smart car. The Smart car was the car that surprised me the most.

I had registered for the NTAXS event on march 4 but had to go out of town for work last minute. I booked a HPDE at MSR for the april 15th day, but will definetly be at NTAXS for the May 19 date

Great day of racing today out at TMS, plenty of twins (we had at least one of each of the 3).

Brooks managed 2nd in DS.

Powers took 1st in STX and kind of rubbed our noses in it with a monster of a final run after everyone else had finished and he'd already cinched it. He managed to take 3rd in PAX overall, the best ever finish for any twin in any class.

I managed 4th in STX, which was one hell of a battle where there were 5 out of 10 drivers who could have taken the win (looks like this year is going to be an epic, constant, and utterly fantastic competition).

In addition to my regular co-driver, Curtis, both my Dad and brother drove my car (they took 5th and 10th in Novice class out of 33 competitors).

There were a few other twins out there and it was great to see so many. If you weren't out there you should feel bad about missing out.

Yes. Kosei 17x7 with 225 RE71s in good condition. Pm for details.

Here's what it looks like when hit the very last cone on a run that would have put you in 2nd place. Next time I'll know to properly scrub the tires in before I use them.

I need to come out to the next local event. I just picked my 86 up last week. I want to come watch an event and figure a few things out before I participate though.

Run looks smooth AF, after watching this vid....I think I was pushing my car too hard, especially in the wrong areas of the course, which probably lead to most of my mistakes.

Today's BMW autocross was super fun! If you didn't go you really missed one heck of a fast and challenging course! Also I've never seen so many white 86's! ��

Shout out to Maher for a solid 5th place in novice!

I managed to finish 3rd in X class. I guess new tires really helped!
